Call me a heathen but I liked this movie. Call me a heathen but I liked this movie. The plot was weak but I thought the characters were strong. This appeared to be a movie that introduces us to the characters for future movies. I almost took off a star for Jared Leto as the Joker. After a second viewing, he started to grow on me. I think I was too hung up on Heath Ledger’s awesome dark performance. Leto’s brings the character of the Joker back to what is in the comics. Robbie’s Haley Quinn is the stand out in this movie. I really enjoyed this movie I really enjoyed this movie. Has a lot of action and some well placed comedy too. Having seen the theatrical cut and extended cut now, I can safely say there is basically no point to the extended cut. So feel free to buy the 4K version if you want. I got the blu-ray version because I wanted the extended cut, but since it didn’t really add to the movie in my opinion, I could have just gotten the 4K version. I thought it wouldn’t be worth the extra $5 if the extended cut is only on the Blu-ray…
