In this contemporary action thriller, the famous symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia and finds himself the target of a manhunt. Langdon teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a virus that would wipe out half of the world’s population.

Not as good as first two Robert Langdon movies, but I still want more “Inferno” isn’t as good as “Angels and Demons,” which isn’t as good as “DaVinci Code.” That said, I enjoy reading Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series and hope Ron Howard and Tom Hanks team up for at least one more movie before Tom can no longer play the college professor (this isn’t a slam because I’m older than Mr. Hanks). My mother and I enjoy mysteries, plus these movies show us real-live famous buildings and architecture from foreign countries (HDTV does a super job…
